Gemmology

The Instituto Gemológico Boliviano in partnership with the South American Gem Academy, provides a program of training courses via the Internet of theoretical courses, courses of general interest and workshops of practical work delivered in english and spanish. 

Also the IGB with the South American Gem Academy has translated the courses from english to spanish and  are now available  at the following address:

The courses which include classes of practice are done in IGB premises in Tiquipaya.

• Group of maximum 6 students.
• 20 hours classes.
• Organizationn of 10 days of 2 hours or 5 days of 4 hours.
• Examination in IGB premises for the course's diploma or exception if possibility.
• The course of Basic and Advanced Gemology does not include classes of practices.
